Another week of high school football is upon us, as teams across the city gear up to start the third week of football.

Week two of Texas High School football featured some thrillers, a few upsets and some big-time out of town games.

In a game that saw both teams combine for more than 80-points and was filled with non-stop action, Canutillo defeated Bel Air at Highlander Stadium 53-30 to improve their mark to 2-0 on this young season.  Bel Air blinked and was down 26-7 heading into the second quarter thanks to some nifty running by Eagles' star back Carlos Amato and their stifling defense which has been exceptional early on...

The second week of high school football is upon us on the borderland, as teams across the city gear up to kick off week two of non-district action.

In one of the most memorable high school football games in quite some time, Parkland defeated Burges 41-40 in a wild overtime classic in our Sarah Farms game of the week on Friday night.  Some games are so special that you actually have to be in attendance to believe how they conclude, as was the case at Matador Stadium...
