Day 1 of  Streetfest 2012 has officially come to an end and the party was even bigger and better than we expected it to be, with Saliva, Filter and Theory of a Deadman rocking out on the main stage.

If you haven’t made up your mind about heading to downtown El Paso on Saturday yet, you should scoot your butt on down because the party Friday night kicked serious buttocks. There was tons of food, beer, awesome vendors, sexy concert-goers and amazing bands playing on multiple stages. Not to mention, the silent DJ booth, where I had fun dancing to music no one but me heard all night.

The best part may have taken place inside the Convention Center, where there were dozens of super sweet rides as well as the Bat Tumbler and Bat Pod! I got an up close and personal tour (video coming soon) of the Tumbler and got to straddle the Bat Pod, and holy sugarcane, it was amazing.

Playing on the main stage tonight was Saliva, Filter and Theory of a Deadman. Plus, one heck of a fireworks show, accompanied by music put together by our own Johnnie Walker. Good job, man.

You can get all the info you need to come downtown on Saturday for Candlebox, Kansas and Blue Oyster Cult (MORE COWBELL!) on our Streetfest 2012 page and check out all our pics, interviews and videos here.
