Sports Spin’s 32 Teams in 32 Days: St. Louis Rams

St. Louis Rams fans had plenty of reasons to sing the blues is 2011. Fourteen reasons, to be exact. After a promising 7-9 season in 2010, the Rams regressed to 2-14 in 2011.
The Rams were hit by the injury and lack of offensive talent bug last season, and new coach Jeff Fisher has his work cut out for him.
The secondary will be instantly improved with the additions of Courtland Finnegan through free agency and Janoris Jenkins via the draft.
The wide receiving core is still mostly no-name, but the offense in St. Louis goes through the venerable Steven Jackson.
Tony Softli covers the Rams for ESPN St. Louis. Softli knows the Rams are a huge work in progress, but thinks Fisher is the right man for the job and will eventually right the ship in the ‘gateway city.’
