Sports and Get Fit Expo Attracts Sports Fans of All Ages

The 2016 Sports and Get Fit Expo will be remembered as a chance for people to meet future Hall of Fame catcher Ivan "Pudge"Rodriguez and two time Pro Bowl center and Dallas Cowboy Travis Frederick. The event moved this year to Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas. That meant that kids had the chance to play T-ball in the outfield grass, play in one of the many inflatable rides located along the outfield warning track, and take pictures with Chico, the lovable mascot for the Chihuahuas.

Special thanks to the VIVA AUTO GROUP as our presenting sponsor for this year's Sports and Get Fit Expo. In addition, TFCU, Southwest University, the El Paso Chihuahuas, Upper Valley Urgent Care, Southwest Sport and Spine Center, and La Estrella all sponsored this year's event. The Sports Expo also had a number of vendors participate including 7th inning stretch, Around the World Catering , El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame, Desert Sun Chiropractic, Dianetics, It Works Global, El Paso Beer Club, J&M Sports, Ruben’s Sports Cards, Solar City, Red Hawk Golf, T Mobile, Sugar Skull, Eye See Optical, The Health Spot, UTEP Athletics, High School Umpire Association, and Vista Hills Dental.
