Burges Mustangs Sports Reporter
The ‘Payback Tour’ has come to a close, but the Burges Mustangs’ journey lost a little steam, as they lost to El Paso High last Friday in the last regular season game.
Despite the loss, the 8-2 Mustangs have earned a playoff spot. They take on the Horizon Scorpions Friday at Horizon. The winner will be the bi-district champions.

Cathedral Fighting Irish
After coming off two heartbreaking losses, we're back from our bye week with gained composure and strength. Our backfield is healthy again. Michael Sauter and John Maya are back from injuries spanning over a month. The Irish will travel for the first time to Artesia, NM to take on the Bulldogs.

Well we're preparing to get on the road to Deming, NM to take on the Wildcats. We both share a record of (4-3). Deming is coming off a whooping on Tornillo 41-8. Unfortunately, Cathedral couldn't come in clutch at the end and lose a heart breaker to Santa Teresa 24-12. Hopefully this after "road trip" we'll come back with another win. Looking to go to the playoffs!
