Samantha Stosur’s US Open win was overshadowed on Sunday by her opponent, Serena Williams, who went on a tirade against chair umpire Eva Asderaki, who ruled Williams committed a violation for making noise during a point, claiming it was a distraction.

“You’re totally out of control, you’re a hater, and you’re unattractive inside,” Williams was heard saying to the official during a break.

This isn’t Williams’ first brush with officials. During the 2009 Open, she famously berated a line judge, making threats. She could face a fine or suspension for the tirade.
