Sayonara, Safeco Field!

For the next 25 years, Seattle Mariners baseball fans will have to refer to the arena as T-Mobile Park. The mobile company purchased the naming rights for $87.5 million (that's $3.5 million per year)!

The Mariners will be using the funds from T-Mobile's partnership for facility improvements and to cover maintenance costs. If you are lucky enough to be an existing T-Mobile customer, you will experience special perks, including fast-track entry, exclusive merchandise offers and discounted tickets. All fans will be able to watch baseball players do their warm ups and batting practice with early access to the fan base area which will soon be named the T-Mobile 'Pen.

Most of the exterior changes are expected to be completed by the time of the opening season day, March 28, 2019.

Here are other renderings of the planned T-Mobile Park.
