While most of the country will have their eyes glued to the NLCS, the Kansas City Royals and Toronto Blue Jays will be battling for the AL Pennant. The Royals and Blue Jays both were on the brink of elimination to come back and win their AL division series, and these two teams have no love lost for each other. When they met in Toronto in early August, the benches cleared after Jays reliever Aaron Sanchez hit Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar. According to the Westgate SuperBook, the Jays are the current favorites (7-4) to win the World Series, but Kansas City (3-1) hopes to make back-to-back appearances in the Fall Classic.
