The Round Rock Express collected 17 hits in their 11-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas Friday night at Southwest University Park. The Chihuahuas took an early 3-2 lead with help from solo home runs by Adam Moore and Brooks Conrad but Round Rock scored multiple runs each in the second, fifth, seventh and eighth innings to put the game out of reach.

The Express scored six runs, all earned, on 11 hits against Chihuahuas starter Odrisamer Despaigne. Round Rock had three players pick up three hits each, including Adam Rosales, who fell a home run shy of a cycle and flied out to the warning track in his final at bat. Former San Diego Padre Justin Germano was the winning pitcher after pitching six innings and allowing four runs. Former American League All-Star Neftali Feliz pitched the final inning for the Express.

Conrad, Jeff Francoeur, Travis Buck and Jonathan Galvez had two hits each for the Chihuahuas. Bobby LaFromboise pitched a scoreless inning in his league-leading 32nd appearance of the season. Friday’s sellout was the 22nd in 29 games at Southwest University Park.
