Ronda Rousey Contemplated Suicide after Loss to Holly Holm [VIDEO]

For the first time since losing to Holly Holm in UFC 193 last November, Ronda Rousey is back on the media circuit. The former face of mixed martial arts appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this morning to discuss her first professional loss in the octagon. In an emotional interview, a tearful Rousey told DeGeneres that she was so depressed after getting knocked out by Holm, that she became suicidal.

Four months later, Rousey has healed from her injuries and is on the cover of the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is the first athlete on the cover of this special issue since the magazine began in 1954. In addition to the cover, Rousey is also featured in body paint. The former champ still wants a rematch with Holm, and the two are expected to headline a future UFC Pay Per View later this year.
