On May 10th, former big league great Rocky Colavito joined Sportstalk on the phone. On June 10th 1959, Colavito hit four home runs in one game as a member of the Cleveland Indians. He could relate to Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers, who accomplished the same feat earlier this month. Colavito told the show he was no stranger to El Paso.

"We played Spring Traning games (in El Paso) many many years ago."

Colavito also reflected on the career of his former teammate Roger Maris, who broke into the big leagues with the Indians in the late 1950s.

"Roger Maris was one of the most underrated players of our time. Roger was a roommate of mine and we were very good friends...He was one helluva player. I never saw Roger make a bad throw...and he had good power."
