When the first Popular Mattress store opened at 4114 Montana, George Yapor wanted to make sure he would eliminate the middleman and save money for El Pasoans. Popular Mattress graduated to the current store at 7100 Gateway Blvd East and has since expanded to the four locations.

Today, Popular Mattress has evolved into the largest retail/wholesale factory/direct mattress manufacturer in Texas.
