Phil Jackson Should Take Raptors GM Job
Reports are starting to surface that the Toronto Raptors are saying they want Phil Jackson to become their new GM.
This could be a great challenge and move for Jackson. Toronto does not have "Superstars" on there roster. They don't have a Jordan, Pippen, Shaq or Kobe.
What the Raptors have is a collection of could have beens and should have beens plus players that no one really knows.
This would be the perfect opportunity for Jackson to really prove that he is the basketball mind that everyone thinks he is. He has the chance to take a team with nothing going for it and build it essentially from the ground up.
If he could pull this off, without the superstars that he has had in the past and build the Raptors into a championship contender by drafting and signing free agents, it would truly show that he is the "Zen Master" and the basketball genius that not only the public believes he is but most certainly, he believes he is.
Here is the current roster for the Toronto Raptors.
