Sad news as Nolan Richardson III was found dead in his Tulsa home Sunday afternoon. The 47-year old son of the legendary college basketball coach had followed his father into coaching. After serving as an assistant to Nolan at Arkansas, Nolan III became head coach at Tennessee State in 2000. Police say Richardson’s  death appears to be from natural causes. This is the second time that Richardson has lost one of his children to an early death. In 1987, his daughter Yvonne died from leukemia at the age of 15. Our entire heartfelt condolonsces to the entire Richardson family.
