While there will be no league play worldwide this coming weekend due to an official FIFA match play, the Bravos of FC Juarez will not treat it as such. FC Juarez will have and exhibition match against Monarcas Morelia this coming Friday at Southwest University Park which will mark their official debut to the Sun City.

The team from the Borderland started their work week yesterday just like they would any other week during the regular season. They had a two-hour practice Monday morning in which the players that participated on Saturday night underwent rehabilitative/regenerative workouts while the rest of the team participated in more intense drills.

This morning after another two hour practice at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium, central defensive player Juan Carlos Rojas commented on the upcoming exhibition match, “ We are continuing with the same mindset, same intensity which we have been having over the course of this season, while it is an exhibition match we can not afford to take it easy and relax. We must be serious about this match. This match is another great opportunity to see where this team is regarding its overall function as a team against a team that is from the premiere league in Mexico and must therefore be at a higher level.”

In closing, Rojas also commented that is it important that FC Juarez put on a good performance for soccer fans in El Paso and make a good impression on them in order so that hopefully they will go support the team in Juarez during regular season games in order to add additional support to the already best fan base in the Ascenso Mx League.
