Things became heated early in the third period of tonight's NHL game between the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers. With the Caps comfortably ahead 7-0, fights between players from both teams broke out and it included each team's goalies. Philadelphia's Ray Emery dropped the gloves, but not the pads when he squared off with Washington's Braden Holtby. It's hard enough to block frozen pucks traveling on the ice at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. For Emery, the painful reminder of getting crushed was nothing compared to the beat-down he was delivering to Holtby.
