Every sports fan will tell you that "The Sandlot" was one of the most memorable baseball movies of all time. The film centers around the adventures of a bunch of kids playing sandlot baseball in southern California during the 1960s. The New York Yankees decided to have a little fun of their own and a few players recreated a memorable scene from "The Sandlot" where Scottie Smalls tells his friends that he just played with his dad's Babe Ruth signed baseball, which was hit into the neighbor's yard. The fact that Ruth was an icon for the Yankees makes this scene even more perfect.

Even though the movie clip was less than a minutes long, Yankee players like Brian McCann and C.C. Sabathia still had plenty of blooper material to compile in this outtakes video.
