Let's be honest, one of the greatest professional wrestlers and pop culture icons ever was Andre The Giant. Maybe that is because he was seven feet, four inches tall and weighed over 500 pounds. The "eighth wonder of the world" from Grenoble, France was a legend in the squared circle. HBO has been rumored for years to be working on a documentary of Andre's life and now, the project has not only an April 10th release date but a trailer as well.

Pro wrestling icons like Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair, Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler, and Gene Okerlund, plus actor Billy Crystal were all featured in the 2-minute HBO trailer. During his long run with the WWE, Andre also starred with Crystal in the 1987 comedy "The Princess Bride". The documentary looks fantastic for any fan of sports entertainment, especially if you are old enough to remember Andre in his heyday. Sadly, he died 25 years ago tomorrow, which could explain the timing of HBO releasing the documentary's trailer online. Regardless, Andre The Giant looks like a must-see film and April 10th can't come soon enough.
