Thank God NFL football is back! It's like Christmas for us football fanatics. The best part of opening week is that everyone thinks that this is gonna be the year that their team wins the Super Bowl...that is until you realize your team isn't that good.

That being said, here is how I think the NFL season is gonna turn out.

NFC Divisional Winners:

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles got very hot towards the end of the season last year. If they can maintain that momentum, the eagles will go far.  With weapons like Michael Vick, Desean Jackson, Leshawn McCoy and a defense that has something to prove, the eagles are gonna be very good..If they stay healthy. Vick is injury prone so his health is the key. Add the fact the the owner has put the bullseye on Any Reid's job should make this a very interesting year in Phily.

NFC West: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers got all the way to the NFC title game with a very weak passing game.  The addition of Randy Moss and Mario Manningham along with the play of Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree should make Alex Smith's job easier. Plus they have the best defense in football. In a very weak division the 49ers will make the playoffs with ease.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers

Green Bay has the best offense in the league with the best QB in Arron Rodgers. The defense is what failed the Packers last year.  The Packers hope the additions to the defense will help solve that. Expect Green Bay to go very far in the playoffs this year.

NFC South: Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons should unleash Matt Ryan, letting him go with more three-receiver and no-huddle looks. The running game is solid and they have one of the best TE in the history of the game. The question is how much new coordinator Mike Nolan can get out of the defense

Wild Card Teams: Chicago Bears:

The Bears are another team that was hindered by the injury bug, but re-joining Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall should pay out for the Bears.  Matt Forte will have a great year, the only thing that might hurt the team is the health of Brian Urlacher.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have never lived up to the hype.  They have all the potential to win the big game but always fall flat on their face.  Jerry Jones has added pressure to the team by saying the window is closing on this team...Translation this team needs to make it far in to the playoffs or changes will be made! That being said Tony Romo had his best year as a Dallas Cowboy last season. Clearly the defense is what failed the boys.  Bringing in Brandon Carr from KC and drafting Morris Claiborne will bring the help that DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee need. Plenty of questions still surround this team and until they actual win a couple of playoff games, this team will always be under achievers.

AFC Divisional Winners:

AFC East:  The New England Patriots

The defending AFC champs were one bad defensive play from winning another Super Bowl. The Hoodie made a bunch of additions on defense to fix this problem.  Tom Brady has all his weapons back on offense including the best tight end in football. Brady knows that father time is creeping up on him so if he's gonna get another ring, it has to be soon.

AFC WEST: Denver Broncos

The Broncos made it to the divisional round of the playoffs last year with Tim Tebow. Get rid of him and add one of the best QB of all time with something to prove in Payton Manning. If Manning can play as good as everybody hopes, the Broncos will go far and having a good defense doesn't hurt either.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens should've played in the Super Bowl, but one bad field goal cost them huge.  The Ravens have made a switch at that position and they still have one of the best defenses in the league. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice hope to repeat the outstanding year they had last year. I expect the Ravens to be very good this year.

AFC South: Houston Texas

If Matt Schaub wouldn't have gotten injured last year, I truly believe that the Texans would have played in the Super Bowl. The Texans have one of the best RB in the league in Arian Foster plus they have one of the top defenses.  Mix that together with the play of Schaub and Andre Johnson and the Texans could be playing in New Orleans in February.

Wild Card Teams: Pittsburg Steelers

Big Ben and company hope to bounce back from that embarrassing loss to the Broncos last year in the playoffs. The Steelers have a new offensive coordinator so that should make them better, Mike Wallace finally joining the team will help that.  The defense is still solid and Mike Tomlin is still one of the best coaches in the league .

Kansas City Chiefs

Injures destroyed this team last year , but Matt Cassel and Jamaal Charles are back and better than ever.  Dwyane Bowe should have a stellar year plus the Chiefs have the potential to have a very good defense. This team will go as far as  Matt Cassel takes them.

So who's gonna win the Super Bowl?  Well, who knows! But I do know this...for the last two seasons, the last team to make into the playoffs has won the big game.
