Special El Pasoans Spend a Sunday Afternoon at Staples Center

In less than a month, the story of Mitchell Marcus and Jon Montanez has captured the attention and hearts of a nation that loves sportsmanship and a great story.

Yesterday, Mitchell, Jon, and T-Birds coach Peter Morales got to experience something that would have been unthinkable before the T-Birds and Cougars met on February 12th.  The three were invited by Chris Paul to watch the Thunder/Clippers game from the Jack Nicholson seats.  I don't know if they were Jack's actual seats, but they were certainly courtside.  They also got to spend time with superstars Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and hopefully Nick Collison.

Congratulations to the three men who have shown the rest of the country the kindness and compassion that we see on a daily basis in El Paso.
