Minnesota College Paints Logo on 45 Yard Line Instead of Midfield

Remember that hilarious Snickers commercial from about fifteen years ago where the guy painting the end zone in Kansas City forgets the ‘i’ and spells out ‘CHEFS’ instead of ‘CHIEFS?’

The real life version happened at Division II Minnesota Crookston.  The grounds crew did a fantastic job painting the ‘M,’ but there was just one little problem.  The ‘M’ was painted at the 45 yard line instead of the more traditional midfield stripe.  The only reaction that comes to mind is “Great Googly Moogly.”
