Mike Price, Players Reflect on the Coach & His Legacy [VIDEO]
And that’s a wrap. Mike Price’s exit from the UTEP program was much more low-key than his entrance, as the Miners dropped a 33-24 game to the Rice Owls to finish their 2012 season at 3-9. Price talked about the game, his career, and the challenges that face the next coach, mentioning that El Paso doesn’t get nearly the respect it deserves. Price cracked that El Paso was a bit like Kuwait — alone in a desert surrounded by states and regions that barely acknowledge it, but with no oil.
QB Nick Lamaison, WR Jordan Leslie, and LBs Josh Fely and A.J. Ropati also talked about their coach and what he meant to the program.
