This weekend, former UTEP Miner and NFL vet Brian Young returns home to host his two-day Football Camp at the Sun Bowl. Since retiring from the NFL as a player, Young made the successful transition into coaching with the Saints, and is now their assistant linebackers coach. He will be joined by New Orleans Pro Bowl linebacker Will Smith, former Dallas Cowboys defensive back Keith Davis, and other NFL players and coaches. The two-day free camp for high school juniors and seniors will be from 8am-noon Friday and Saturday. Event organizers are expecting 200 campers, and their goal is to get as many of them college football scholarships.

Young, Smith, and Davis will be signing autographs tomorrow beginning at 5pm at N3L Optics, located at the upper level Cielo Vista Mall across from JC Penney. The autographs will be free and will be part of the Brian Young Pro Camp Meet and Greet.  The first 50 fans to N3L Optics will receive a free Under Armour football. 600 ESPN El Paso will be at N3L Optics for a live Sportstalk broadcast beginning at 4pm.
