Mayor John Cook Talks About Not Vetoing The Downtown Ballpark On 600 ESPN El Paso [AUDIO]

On the day of his biggest decision as Mayor of El Paso and quite possibly the biggest day in the cities history, Mayor John Cook joined us on SportsTalk.
When Steve handed me Mayor Cook’s number this afternoon, I honestly thought, there is no way I am going to get him on the Village Inn Hotline. After failing to reach him, Steve suggested trying once more at the beginning of the six o’clock hour. The Mayor answered and this is what he had to say.

“The bottom line, it really did make sense to demolish City Hall and find another place for it.”
