This time last year, the Florida.......er........Miami Marlins were the talk of baseball's 'hot stove league.'

They were getting ready to move into their new digs in Little Havana, and added Jose Reyes, Mark Buehrle, and Heath Bell to a young, talented roster.

For a short while, they were rumored to be the frontrunners to land Albert Pujols.

Today, multiple media outlets are reporting Reyes, Buehrle, Josh Johnson, John Buck, and Emilio Bonifacio will be traded to Toronto for Yunel Escobar, Jeff Mathis, and prospects Adeiny Hechavarria, Jake Marisnick, Justin Nicolino, and Henderson Alvarez.

The opening day roster for the Marlins in 2013 will be a shell of the 2012 edition.
