No, I am not kidding you.

Commissioner Whan of the LPGA understands the policies of Augasta National and feels that even though the club has it's policies for women not being allowed to be members, he thinks the club should host an LPGA Tournament.

In no way shape or form am I against women or women's rights but there is something the Commish needs to understand.

When the Olympics were in Atlanta in 1996, the IOC wanted to introduce golf as an exhibition sport but only if both the men's and women's competitions could be held at Augusta National.

Augusta said the men's competition could be held there but not the women's and thus the IOC chose not to introduce golf as a sport in the Olympics in 1996.

If Augusta National didn't want the Olympics held there because the IOC wanted the women to play there and most of the same members that were member's then, are members now, what do you think the answer is going to be?

Every time you think the Augusta and women argument is dead, someone always seems  to drudge it up again.

Why can't people just leave Augusta National alone?
