The Albuquerque Isotopes scored five runs after the sixth inning Monday in their 8-6 comeback win over the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University Park. The game was tied in the top of the ninth with two outs and no Isotopes on base when Tim Federowicz walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored the go-ahead run on Jamie Romak’s RBI single. Alex Liddi then hit a two-run home run to put Albuquerque ahead by three.

Brooks Conrad led off the top of the ninth inning with a solo home run, his 18th of the season, the third highest total in the Pacific Coast League this season. El Paso starter Jason Lane left the game on line for a win after pitching 6.2 innings and allowing three earned runs. Lane compiled 10 strikeouts, the most by a Chihuahuas’ hurler in a single game. Jonathan Galvez went 2-for-5 in the loss and now has a .305 batting average.

Catcher Rocky Gale went 2-for-5 with three RBIs in the loss. Tyler Greene struck a single in the third inning and now has hits in ten straight games, the longest Chihuahuas hitting streak to date.

The scoring started with this Rocky Gale 2-Run double in the second inning.

A seemingly routine ground ball to short by Alex Castellanos produced two more runs in the sixth.

In the ninth, Brooks Conrad tried to lead the Chihuahuas comeback with this solo home run.
