The Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, the smallest car in the company’s fleet, could soon be the envy of drifters everywhere. That’s because the company announced they are releasing a rear-wheel drive version of the Gallardo Spyder, the first vehicle in their lineup to have this rubber scorching feature since the Balboni.

Even with slightly less power than the four-wheel drive version, it will probably be twice as much fun to drive. Rear wheel drive means the vehicle will be easier to drift around corners (warn your insurance agent) and twice as loud, producing that unearthly, end-of-the-world roaring that makes life worth living.

The ‘LP550-2 Spyder’ doesn’t have a release date yet, but it does have a sticker price: just over $238,000. It’s also around $15,000 cheaper than the four-wheel drive Gallardo Spyder.

Hot model not included.
