Kasey was nominated by her coach and her uncle for the outstanding job she did pitching a game against a team from New Mexico. Kasey’s team, the Cats, were able to pull off a HUGE upset over the little league world champions.

Kasey’s coach writes, "This past weekend the El Paso Cats just turned 14U girls softball team traveled up to Albuquerque to play in a friendly 4 team warmup tournament. In that tournament was the NM USSA Runner up Albuquerque Rukus, Albuquerque Venom, and the Little League World Series Champs Albuquerque Stingers (Eastdale) Kasey pitched in the win Saturday 6-5 over the LLWS champs, then Sunday she won again 5-1, and followed up that game with an immediate game against Rukus in the scrimmage championship with another win.”
