We are three weeks into the live racing at Sunland Park Racetrack. Although still months away from their signature Sunland Oaks and Derby races on March 24th, veteran horse racing broadcaster Tom Dawson is profiling different local and national fillies and mares. This week's show, discusses a few fillies that are making an early run at a possible spot in the Sunland Oaks. That includes Figure, who shined on the track in the sixth race of the day on January 13th.

This weekly video series with Tom Dawson keeps you abreast of all the happenings leading up to the March 24 running of the $800,000 Sunland Derby and the $200,000 Sunland Oaks. We will keep you in the know as we get closer to the biggest local racing day of the season.
