For the first 25 minutes of the 81st Hyundai Sun Bowl, it looked like the Arizona State Sun Devils would run away with the game. They led Duke 20-3 more than midway through the second quarter, and appeared to be in total, control of the football game. However, the Blue Devils answered with two quick touchdowns in just two minutes and suddenly, the game became a war for the final two quarters.

Duke actually took the lead with 5:03 left in the game, but just 18 seconds later, ASU answered with a 96-yard kickoff return to set up the game winning score. Here's the game recap from CBS' Carter Blackburn and Gary Danielson.

The game was so exciting that most of the 47,000 plus fans in attendance stayed until the very end of the game. In fact, it appeared that Duke had one magical drive left as they moved the ball to the ASU 14 yard line with under a minute left to play.

However, Blue Devils quarterback Anthony Boone's pass was intercepted by Kweishi Brown to preserve ASU's dramatic 36-31 win. I caught up with Brown after the game and asked him about his late heroics.
