According to sources, the Houston Texans and defensive end J.J. Watt have agreed on a six-year contract extension that could pay him $100 million.

The deal will pay Watt a guaranteed $51.8 million, the most for a defensive player in NFL history! The $16.6 million annual value also is the highest for a defensive player. The new deal will keep him with the Texans through the 2021 season.

Watt, was the 2012 defensive player of the year and has had 36.5 sacks in his first three seasons with the Houston Texans
