Five years ago to the day, an unknown, unranked Appalachian State team went to "The Big House" at Michigan and pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the history of college football.

Michigan was ranked #5 in the country and had aspirations for a national championship.

Appalachian State was a relative unknown and on the road in a VERY hostile environment.

But that didn't stop Appalachian State from going in and shocking the world to get the victory against Michigan on September 1, 2007.

Fast forward to today, September 1, 2012.

The #4 ranked Oklahoma Sooners are on the road at the Sun Bowl with aspirations for a national championship and face the known UTEP Miners.

Who is to say the Miners can't have the same fate as Appalachian State, on the same day five years later?

Think about it. Why not UTEP?
