The NBA has decided to use the term "front court" when referring to forwards and centers on the NBA All-Star ballot and they are leaving the standard designations of F and C off the ballot from now on.

Does this honestly matter? No. It doesn't matter at all.

For years now, the fans have voted for whomever they chose as many times as they want. Look at Yao Ming being voted to the team, China voted as many times as they wanted and while he was in the league, Ming was voted on and sometimes led in the balloting.

This is what the NBA wants, a fan friendly league.

And lets be honest. If Shaq, Robinson, Olajuwon, Ewing, Parrish, Malone, Walton, Chamberlin or Russell were on the ballot, fans would vote for them.
