Players for the San Diego Chargers are reportedly devastated by the loss of former player Paul Oliver who committed suicide Tuesday night.

Oliver, who was a defensive back for the Chargers from 2007-2011, reportedly shot himself at his Georgia home. Police have not released a reason for suicide, but stated Oliver died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 29.

Oliver has not played with an NFL team since 2011. He was a fourth round draft pick from Georgia.
