Former heavyweight boxing champion Vitali Klitschko left to ring to pursue a career in politics. If today's events in Kiev are any indication, Klitschko could have battles much tougher than some of his title fights.

Klitschko was in Kiev to try and calm down a crowd of protesters near Parliament. The former boxer is the leader of the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform, a group opposed to Ukranian President Viktor Yanukovych. As Klitschko attempted to settle down the crowd, someone with a fire extinguisher sprayed him in the face. So much for trying to keep the peace.
