Five Places To Grab A Beer Downtown Before A Chihuahuas Game
As we get closer to Opening Day for the El Paso Chihuahuas on April 28th, I askedmyself, where would be the best place to go grab a beer and hang out downtown before a game? You can add "drinks" to the places, too, if you want. I would never discriminate against an adult beverage.
Being only a block from the ballpark, Soho is a solid spot. It also has a laid back atmosphere and the beer is cold, which is nice. Get here early because it is going to be hopping.
Only two blocks from the park, Sparrow's has Chicago style pizza and cold beer. A word to the wise, if you want a pizza call ahead and place your order. Maybe they will sell by the slice?
I love this place. It is small so you better get there early, which is never bad, but the food is good and only a couple blocks away from the ballpark.
Located in the Camino Real, it's fancy and a great place to cap off a night at the ballpark with your significant other. The ample room means you're not likely to be squished against other people.
One of my favorite spots downtown. The staff is super friendly, the space is great and the beer is really cold. This is a place that you can have a group meet at and walk over without a problem. Four blocks from the ballpark and worth the walk.
