On Saturday night at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium, it was FC Juarez's Leandro Carrijo and 21 other players on the pitch. The Bravos de FC Juarez defeated Cimarrones de Sinaloa by a score of 4-0. All four goals were scored by Carrijo. Yes, you read that correctly.

More than 12,000 fans saw Carrijo put on a scoring clinic as he scored in the 6th, 25th, 71st and 90th minutes of the match. This latest victory re-establishes the team from the Borderland in first place with 28 points on the season, two points ahead of 2nd place Lobos BUAP, with one more match left in the regular season.

With the victory the Bravos have extended their streak to 10 games with out a loss.

As a whole, the local side simply dominated their opposition dictating all conditions on the pitch from the opening whistle. Scoring opportunities were easily 5-1 in favor the FC Juarez as they looked head and shoulders above a team that is in now in last place in the standings table with only 11 points on the season.

FC Juarez's final match will be in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco as they will pay a visit to the Leones Negros de la U de G (Black Lions) on Friday evening. Leones Negros is currently in 6th place in the standings table with 20 points on the season. This is the team that was relegated from the first division this past spring.
