Fan Arrested After Throwing Hot Dog at Tiger Woods During Tournament

During Sunday’s final round of the Frys.com Open, a fan ran at Tiger Woods — who was putting on the seventh green — yelled the former world number one’s name, and then tossed a hot dog at him.
“When I looked up, the hot dog was already in the air,” Woods said. “The bun was kind of disintegrating.”
The suspect, whose name wasn’t released because he is only being charged with a misdemeanor, then dropped to the ground and put his hands behind his back, waiting to be arrested.
According to police, the man — who admitted to having a drink earlier — claims he was just throwing the hot dog in the air, not specifically at Woods.
Woods, playing in his first tournament since August, finished in 30th place with a seven under par total.
