Since he was first hatched in 1974 by a San Diego radio station, Ted Giannoulas knew he had something special. More than 40 years later, the Famous SD Chicken has become one of the most iconic figures in sports. He has performed in front of over 60 million adoring fans, and was in El Paso Tuesday night making his second appearance at a Chihuahuas game. 600 ESPN El Paso had a chance to talk to Ted on Sportstalk today about his legendary career as a sports entertainer, his thoughts on baseball's new pitch clock, and the origin of his first ever trip to El Paso to perform at Dudley Field.
