Evan Longoria in trending on Facebook today because a few websites found a video from 2011 of Longoria catching a line drive with his bare hands just seconds before it was destined to hit a reporter who was interviewing him. But is it real?

Sorry. Not only is it really old, but it's really fake. According to Snopes, it was for a Gillette commercial and is already widely documented on the internet as staged. But when has that ever stopped anyone from posting it on Facebook? Not to mention, a hit with that speed would cause more damage to his hand than he could shake off.
