College basketball fans will get the opportunity to see at least two of the top teams in the nation meet at Fort Bliss in 2018. ESPN announced on Friday that the Armed Forces Classic will be played at Fort Bliss November 9th 2018.

ESPN owns and operates the games, which features some of the best teams in college basketball playing at United States military bases. Arizona, Michigan State, Indiana, and Kansas just played in Honolulu this past Friday in the State Farm Armed Forces Classic. Next year, Texas A&M and West Virginia will play in Germany at Ramstein Air Base.

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to extend our relationship with the Department of Defense," said Clint Overby, vice president, ESPN Events in a release sent to the media. "This premier event will continue its tradition of showcasing the beginning of each college basketball season, while honoring the service of the men and women stationed at military bases across the world."

No word yet from Fort Bliss on whether the game will be played at the Don Haskins Center or another facility on base.
