You knew that it was only a matter of time before ESPN took a closer look at the scandal rocking the University of Louisville men's basketball program. Outside The Lines published a story this morning where five former Cardinal basketball players admitted that they attended campus parties from 2010-2014 that included strippers. According to the story, former Louisville graduate assistant coach Andre McGee paid for the strippers.

The shocking details were uncovered after a self described former escort published a book entitled "Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen." In the book, Katina Powell details many different stripping and sex parties at an on campus athletic dorm over the five year period involving basketball recruits and players.

Louisville head coach Rick Pitino claims that he new nothing about the crazy parties that involved his basketball program. Even if the Hall of Fame coach was not aware of what his graduate assistant was allegedly doing to try and lure recruits to play at Louisville, it is hard to imagine that he will survive the fallout of the scandal once the smoke clears. In the meantime, Pitino continues to practice with his team and prepare for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
