El Pasoan Fernando Rodriguez Recalled by Houston Astros

Good news for El Paso baseball fans. Fernando Rodriguez is back with the Houston Astros after getting the promotion from Oklahoma City last night. The former Franklin High and EPCC star spent the last 10 days in Triple-A after spending most of June with Houston. Rodriguez, 27, will join the Astros in Pittsburgh and hopes to continue his success in the big leagues. In 15 2/3 innings, he is 1-0 with a 2.87 ERA.
