The El Paso Rhinos are returning to the airwaves. The hockey team and 600 ESPN El Paso announced that a total of 11 home and road games will be broadcast on radio during the remainder of the regular season.

"It great for our team, our parents, and our fans," said Rhinos head coach Cory Herman. Veteran hockey play-by-play voice Duke Keith will be announcing the games on 600 ESPN El Paso. "Duke has done a very good for us the past seven years," Herman said.

Currently, the Rhinos are in first place in the Mountain Conference with 50 points. Last weekend, they won two out of three games against a much-improved New Mexico Renegades team. Coach Herman would have liked to picked up all six points, but gave credit to New Mexico. "We ran into a very hot goaltender last weekend. He played very well for them and is going to be a great addition to their team for the remaining regular season games and playoffs."

The Rhinos travel to Dallas on Friday for a huge weekend battle with the Ice Jets. Dallas is currently the first place team in the Mid-West Conference with 58 points. Herman knows these games will not be easy.

"This will be a great test for us. Dallas has a very strong team again this year. For us to have success, we need to stick to our game plan and play a full 60 minutes."

All three road games will be broadcast live on 600 ESPN El Paso, beginning Friday at 6pm.
