El Paso Ice Hockey Is Hot

Of all places, ice hockey is gaining popularity in the desert and our area teams are killing it!!

The El Paso Rhinos and the UTEP Hockey Team are destroying the competition.

The El Paso Rhinos are 13 - 2 in the Western States Hockey League and are on a six-game home win streak. Their next 3 games are at home in the El Paso County Events Center, next to the Coliseum. Tickets range from $5 - $20, military get in free with ID!

UTEP is kicking some "ice" as well! The 11th ranked UTEP Hockey Team blew out the University of Texas at Austin last weekend, Uwinning the first game 7-2 and the second, 7-1. The "Ice Miners" also play at the County Events Center, get tickets here.
