El Paso Chihuahuas Announce Founding Corporate Partners

EL PASO – March 25, 2014 – The El Paso Chihuahuas are proud to announce today that L & F Distributors, local Ford dealers, PepsiCo, Sierra Providence Health Network and Southwest University are the team’s official Founding Corporate Partners (FCP’s). The five partners share the Chihuahuas vision of affordable family entertainment, exceptional customer service and the passion for El Paso and its surrounding communities.
“We are proud and fortunate to have such a premier group of Founding Corporate Partners,” said Brad Taylor, Chihuahuas General Manager. “Their vision and support of the Chihuahuas and the inception of Triple-A baseball in El Paso shows their belief in the upward growth of our city.”
The partnerships allow for exclusive advertising rights in the soft drink, malt beverage, healthcare network and auto & truck manufacturer categories. They will have a presence in the ballpark with signage and promotional opportunities. The team announced Southwest University as the ballpark naming rights partner on March 5.
“Through this partnership we will continue to bring pride, excitement, and opportunities to the students and fans of Southwest University, the El Paso Chihuahuas and the community of El Paso,” said Yolanda Arriola, President of Southwest University.
The Chihuahuas and their Founding Partners look to collaboratively shape the future of downtown El Paso, the city and region. The team’s and FCP’s joint efforts will involve philanthropic ventures, including the recent “Chihuahuas Days of Giving” during the holiday season when the team raised more than $6,700 for local charities.

PepsiCo will be the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage provider and snack partner of chip products for the Chihuahuas offering its iconic portfolio of products including Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Frito-Lay snacks. PepsiCo distributed more than 1 million limited edition team branded Pepsi cans around the region in appreciation of the partnership.
Sierra Providence Health Network brings together advanced technology and services in a system that includes four acute care hospitals.
