Bowie blinked and was down 20-0 to Eastlake at the SAC as the Falcons defeated the Bears 41-7 in their first ever home playoff game.

A combination of Eastlake's relentless defense and a scoring frenzy was simply way too much for the Bears to handle as they were outplayed from the opening kickoff to the final snap of the game.  The Falcons scored their first points of the game at the 5:05 mark of the first quarter when running back Adrian Chavez rushed for an 8 yard touchdown.  Eastlake was just getting warmed up as they scored twice before the first quarter ended to go up 20-0.

Eastlake's DB Thomas Martinez retuned a Bowie punt 65 yards for a touchdown with 3:24 left in the first quarter, and quarterback Marcus Camacho threw a 55 yard touchdown pass to Adrian Carmona to finish the quarter strong.  The Falcons scored twice in the second quarter when QB Marcus Camacho threw a 15 yard touchdown pass to Hector Sarrano, and scored on a 9 yard quarterback keeper with 2:00 left before the half.  Eastlake took a firm 34-0 lead into halftime and played conservatively the remainder of the game.

Bowie's lone score of the game came when quarterback Eric Pichardo scored on a 2 yard keeper in the fourth quarter.  Eastlake quarterback Marcus Camacho finished the game 9 of 14 for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns, 2 passing and 1 rushing.  Running back Adrian Chavez gained 99 yards on 8 carries and scored 2 touchdowns.  The Falcons's defense completely shut down Bowie's ground game which made it a long night for the Bears.

With the victory Eastlake moves to 8-3 on the season and will now face Lubbock Cooper in the Area round of the playoffs.  Bowie finishes their 2014 campaign 5-6.
