Football rivalries are part of the intense sport American's love. Most high schools have that one school they can't wait to face during the football season. "We Are Clint" is a documentary focusing on a lower valley rivalry I grew up looking forward to ever year. As an alumni of Fabens High School, trust me when I say this Clint vs. Fabens rivalry is as intense as it gets.

Growing up in Fabens, when I would either hear the word Clint or play against them in other high school sports, and I would just get this little surge of anger. That's the best way I can explain it. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Clint residents but I do enjoy taking part in the friendly rivalry.

The directors of this documentary are actually some great guys from Clint, Samuel and Joshua Gandara. The Gandara Bros. followed the 2014 Clint High School Football team documenting all the blood, sweat and tears that lead up to the big rivalry game. We actually call this big game the Cotton Bowl and the winning team gets a cool trophy and bragging rights.

As much as it kills me to watch my beloved Fabens Wildcats lose to the Clint Lions, I really enjoyed this documentary. Great job, Gandara Bros. but I just have to mention, once a wildcat, always a wildcat!
