Dirty Sox: Amarillo Sox Mascot Boner Upsets Management

So, the El Paso Diablos‘ American Association league-mates, the Amarillo Sox, got a new mascot a week ago. Except that…well, “Lee” the mascot looks like a sock that needs to be thrown back into the wash with a little fabric softener. He’s a little hard…to look at.

Sox management swears it’s a mistake, and we believe them. But this might be a sign that maybe they need to “raise their game”.  The team is “very disappointed in the lady who did it.”

The lady who did it?! Not company?

“It’s in her hands today,” says Sox GM Mark Lee. Maybe that was the problem.

Let this be a lesson: Try doing something on the cheap and you’ll get stiffed.
